News:

- YJFL Awards Night highlights...

• Matthew Silipo was awarded the League's Best and Fairest player in Under 11 (Blue). Congratulations Matthew!
• Bede Briscombe was awarded the League's Best and Fairest player in Under 15 (Div 4).Congratulations Bede!
• Zane Kadlecik came close, being awarded the 3rd B&F in Under 12 (Green).
• Jarryd Chirgwin (Colts Blue) was selected as Half Back in the League's "Colts Team of the Year".

- Under 15's finals... It was an exciting match but unfortunately our Under 15s lost their lead in the last few minutes of last Sunday's Preliminary Final. Bad luck guys!

- Club Presentation Day is Sunday 14th September. Tackers, Under 10s, Under 11s and Under 12s at 10:30am, followed by a barbecue lunch. Under 14s, Under 15s and Colts at 1:30, after the barbecue lunch.

- Even though the 2008 season hasn't quite finished, it's already time to start thinking about the next season. Our club, like most kids' sporting clubs, depends on the generosity of parents (and others) volunteering their time and energy, for the benefit of all of our kids. In particular, we are looking for people who may be interested in coaching or assisting (not necessarily parents), and also helpers for next year's committee. - We are pleased to welcome James and his team at Sports.Lab back to Doncaster. Sports.Lab is the new name and new shop for an old sponsor (previously Sportsco). Next time you're at Shoppingtown, check them out!
