Today was a hard slog all day, and a real old fashioned cold, wet and muddy day.
The ball spent a lot of the time in dispute, and at the end of the first quarter neither team had scored. Warrandyte managed to get a couple of goals in the second quarter.
After half-time we outscored Warrandyte which was a great testament to the boy's spirit and determination. But we just couldn't manage to get the couple more goals we needed.
It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride, but a pretty amazing one when you think where we started from just 16 weeks ago. Hope to see you all back here playing Under 18s for the Senior club next year!
