SEASON 2012 – BRING IT ON!!!

We are happy to announce that most coaching positions have been filled as follows:

In addition to these fantastic appointments we also have assistant coaches and team managers for each team.  Stay tuned for more details.

In an exciting development for the club, we are in the process of finalising arrangements for a formal education and support process for all of our coaches and assistant coaches.  The program will be tailored to satisfy the specific requirements of our club as identified in our review of football operations.

Registration Day is scheduled to be held at Schramms Reserve on Sunday 12^th February from 10am to 1pm.  As with the last few years we will have one or two AFL players in attendance, Sportsafe will be fitting mouthguards, A Grade Club Supplies will have a massive variety of football gear available and the Chirgwins will also have club apparel for sale.  Advertising boards will soon be erected at Leeds Street and Schramms Reserve promoting the day.

We do ask all existing members to make an effort to bring new players down to the club.  WE NEED NEW PLAYERS!!!  Our club welcomes all new players so please contact the coaches above or the President or Secretary if you are interested in joining our great club.  As always, your registration fees include our apparel giveaway which is a DJFC polo shirt this year.

DJFC particularly requires any under 16 or under 17 players to add more numbers to our Colts team which this year will be coached by DFC senior footballer, Cale Valkenburg.

In off-field news we welcome Alannah Evans as our new club Secretary.  We are sure that Alannah will do a great job in this role.  We also make special mention of our new committee members for 2012: Kent Snibson, Andrew Haug, Robyn McCarthy and Adam Tozer.

We would also like to welcome Bill Schlink First National Real Estate as our apparel sponsor from the 2012 season.  Their logo will be adorning our club polo shirts and the front of our jumpers next season.
